We raised much-needed funds for the Valerie’s House Forever Home. Thank you to our friends at Achieva Credit Union for donating these tickets to our children. Many of our kids bonded and shared lasting memories. Some of our families even had a chance to meet the players on the field after the game!
This activity focuses on learning how to manage or stressors, anxiety, and changes in our lives and families. We learn and practice mediation by creating mandalas. Creating a family mandala is a unifying experience in which people can express themselves individually within a unified structure.
A mantra is the repetition of an affirmation meant to motivate and inspire you to be your best self. This activity focuses on learning how to cope with feelings of anxiety/stress, life changes, and everyday struggles. The children work on managing their emotions based on what they can control.
Valerie's House provide grief support programs and services for children in Southwest Florida. No child should grieve alone.
